When two kings meet it usually leads to a war, but in Jashn 2010 – Dhamaka Naye Saal Ka, it led to celebrations. We are talking here about the moment Shah Rukh Khan came face to face with Chief Minister Ashok Chavan at an event, recently shot at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.

It was raining stars at the event, as the entire Bollywood industry was present and presented exceptionally spectacular performances to entertain the Mumbai Police and their families. To add to the fun, ace director Karan Johar did a spoof on his own show and called it "Koffee with Kops" and what better way to do it than having the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan as his special guest.

Shah Rukh and Karan were high on energy with their Q & As. In the final question, asked about his one wish from the Government, he said "I would request the Government to do as much as they can, in whatever way possible be it monetarily or socially for the welfare of the Mumbai Police and its families."
Within an hour's time, Mumbai CM Ashok Chavan declared a sum of Rs 5 crores to be utilized for the welfare of the Mumbai Police and their families. If this was not enough, Amitabh Bachhan, who was also present with his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachhan offered a sum of Rs 11 lakhs on his behalf for the same cause.

Now that's what we call is the impact of our Badshah. It was indeed an unforgettable evening which will always be remembered for its causes. All thanks to Shah Rukh's noble wish!

Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
