The fear of My Name is Khan

Shah Rukh Khan's next My Name Is Khan is almost two months away from release but the tremors of its run up are already being
felt. Films which were scheduled to release around a couple of weeks after February 12 are now likely to be postponed to a safer date. Talking about the release of his film Apartment director Jagmohan Mundhra says the film was scheduled to release in February. "However now that the big fat white elephant called My Name Is Khan is scheduled to release on February 12 we have to figure out a date which would be safer for a small film like mine," says Mudhra. Apartment is a thriller starring Neetu Chandra, Tanushree Dutta and Rohit Roy. Similarly many other producers are rescheduling the promotion campaigns of the film. Interestingly even Amitabh Bachchan's Teen Patti, which also stars Ben Kingsley and R Madhavan and has been directed by Leena Yadav, has also been shifted to February 26.

Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
