Meanwhile, Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots continues to top the list at Rs 202 crore.

Even after the release of Ekta Kapoor's Once Upon Ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan, SRK's Chennai Express is still going strong.

Therefore, as the trend suggests, it is only a matter of time thatChennai Express will take over 3 Idiots' record.

Talking about the magnanimous success of the film Shah Rukh Khan said: "I am not saying I know the business 100 per cent but I do know something. Half my life I've kept doing movies and then I think - I want to make movies for the South Indian market but that market can change, taste can change. I want to make movies for critics but critics and their appreciation can change for a certain kind of cinema. And then I make movies because my heart says so."

Salman Khan, who rules the Rs 100 crore club, continues to have two films in Top 5, namely Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2. (With Bollywood Hungama inputs)

"Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive").
