Malay actor to make Bollywood debut with SRK

Ady Putra, a Singapore-born Malaysia-based actor will make his Bollywood debut playing superstar Shah Rukh Khan's lawyer in the much awaited sequel to the movie 'Don'.

"When my agent called me up last month and said I got the part as Shah Rukh's lawyer, my first reaction was 'Are you sure they've got the right Ady?' Wow, it's truly unexpected," the 29-year-old actor told lifestyle paper 'The Daily Chilli'.

Best known for his bad boy roles in hit Malay movies like 'Anak Halal' and 'Histeria', Putra auditioned for the role in Kuala Lumpur for Don 2 in the middle of the year. He said he was told that he got the role last month.

"I went for a casting call handled by one of the production houses in KL. I'm thankful to Allah for the opportunity and the happiness that comes with it," said Putra.

'Don 2', an action thriller, is the sequel to 2006 blockbuster hit 'Don'. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, it also stars Bollywood beauties Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta.

'Every Damn Time,' Tweets Shah Rukh Khan, Detained At US Airport
