Q Each time you come back on television you call it your 'homecoming'.
Well, I have hosted two shows in the last couple of years, after starting my acting career on TV two decades ago. So yes, this has to be my third 'homecoming'. But this time I am feeling more happy, healthy and fresh.
Q What makes it special?
After My Name Is Khan I was depressed. I was also nursing an injury. So I didn't feel healthy. Now I am back to work. I am doing two films and two more will happen soon. I have recovered physically and mentally. I've got my four packs back and two more will follow soon. So it'a new beginning.
Q What interested you about Wipeout?
Wipeout is a crazy, insane and over the top format. I have seen it and so have my kids. I think it's a funny-sweet show where 28 contestants will undergo hilarious tasks and challenges, from jumping over moving obstacles, to bouncing off big balls and dodging swinging pendulums hurled at them.
Q How has the Indian version shaped up?
It is full-on entertainment — masti ka matka, fun ka jhatka and entertainment ka chaska — for the entire family. I have shot for the promo and seen four episodes. I have enjoyed doing quiz shows before, but this show is entertaining.
