Shah Rukh Khan: Daddy dapper at 'I Am She 2010'

May 29, 2010, (Sawf News) - Dressed in all black, Shah Rukh Khan exuded 'mature' style at the I Am She 2010: Miss Universe India Pageant finale on Friday, May 28.

The 44-year-old Bollywood star wore a black suit, black shirt sans tie, and black dress shoes to the event at The National Centre Performing Arts, in Mumbai.

His spiked up gelled hair added to his height, which still fell short of Sushmita Sen's as the two walked the red carpet together and posed for the photogs.

Shah Rukh was his usual jocular self as he answered questions from the press.

After the event, Shah Rukh tweeted:

"attended sushmita's i am she miss india universe contest. met all the young girls participating...such beauty in the dreams of youngsters.

joked with judges & contestants.sreesanth,vivek,farah & shobha.had a great evening & thought of my daughter stepping out in the real world."

Also present at the event were Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Saif Ali Khan, Neha Dhupia, Farah Khan and cricketer Sreesanth, among others.

Miss Stefania Fernandez, Miss Universe 2009 was the special invitee to the event. She arrived in India on May 26.

Ushoshi Sengupta, 21, was picked to represent India at the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant at Las Vegas, Nevada in August.

The run-up event to the pageant was organized by Sushmita Sen's production company, Tantra Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (TEPL), which is a licensee for Miss Universe India Pageant 2010.
