While the foreign press is going gaga over Shah Rukh Khan's performance in MNIK, (specially the Germans who love our King Khan and give his movies 'star studded' reviews always) the makers are apparently planning to dub the film in German too.
And we aren't surprised by this, because recently while talking to SRK, he told us about his terrific fan following in that part of the world. "I remember when I was there the last time, I saw a very sweet headline in the papers, and though I don't believe in such headlines, this one was very interesting. It read — 'There was Martin Scorsese, there were the Rolling Stones and there was King Khan.'
So there were a huge number of people who watched and liked Om Shanti Om in Germany, and they have always been very kind to my movies." We believe SRK when he says that, why else would his fans trudge to Berlin all the way from Vienna, Prague, Austria and other parts of Europe to pay upto 1,000 Euros per ticket (and those were sold out in five seconds flat) to meet our 'royalty' Khan. Well, well, well... in the West we think, it is Brad Pitt... then there is Shah Rukh Khan. How cool, huh?
