Shah Rukh Khan revealed on ‘Discovery’!


SRK's success story got effectively showcased in a special show on the actor on the Discovery Channel on Friday prime time. The special show called 'Shah Rukh Khan: Revealed', documented the actor's rise to super stardom, in his own words.

Encapsulating the struggle of this middle class boy, who boldly went out to do negative roles or showed the so-called 'effeminate emotions', the documentary revealed why every audience identifies with this man. The show also presented the reasons why the romantic actor has such a huge female fan following.

Film critic MK Raghavendra said in that SRK involves both creativity as well as mischief in his acting, which clicks with the audience.

Lyricist Prasoon Joshi commented that SRK, who is always full of energy, has become the face of the young modern youth. India is going through a change and the audiences see a leader in SRK.

SRK, through his films like DDLJ, KKKG, KANK and MNIK opened the NRI market for Bollywood. He symbolized the modern metrosexual man, who is traditional to the core, the film showed. This persona endeared him with the audience.

SRK, in an extremely personal moment on-screen said that his mother taught him four things – to do hard work, to respect, to be fun-loving and to maintain one's integrity. He said that apart from his hard work, destiny played an important role.

The actor also added, "Beyond the silver screen I am a boring person, creating the polished SRK."

The hour-long special programme feature interesting anecdotes, interviews and footage from his films.

'Every Damn Time,' Tweets Shah Rukh Khan, Detained At US Airport

Movie star Shah Rukh Khan, detained at an airport in the US for questioning again, tweeted on Thursday: "Every damn time!" The 50-year-old actor was detained at the Los Angeles airport this time.
