Shahrukh Khan honoured in Hollywood

Madame Tussauds Hollywood welcomes Shah Rukh Khan into its collection of life like celebrity wax figures for a limited engagement only which ends April 30.

The 44 year old Khan is the first Bollywood star to be inducted here and the historic addition of his figure symbolizes a coming together of the world's two great film centers, Hollywood and Bollywood.

Khan is often called "The King of Bollywood" and has starred in over 70 movies. His latest film titled "My Name is Khan" is set for domestic release on February 12. The international news magazine Newsweek named Khan as one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.

Rai was present at the recent Zee Cine Awards in Singapore which was covered by the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation – and thanked Fiji citizens for their support of the Bollywood industry.
