MyBangalore caught up with several movie goers at Rex Theatre, Brigade Road. Most of the recipients what we interacted with "loved" the movie. Obviously there were many who had to return dejected because the tickets were booked all through the next couple of days. That did not deter some from purchasing black tickets from a vendor outside the cinema. Selling them at Rs. 200, the dealer was making quick money because cinema goers were intent of watching the film hook or crook. These are some of the responses from the movie goers. Anjali Kureja, a housewife said, "the movie is very nice. Shahrukh Khan was absolutely brilliant in his role as Rizwan. The movie clearly sends a message out that there is no differentiation required among religions and castes. It's spreads a message of peace"
Ashima Chand, a Software Engineer said, "It's a very nice movie, and gives a very strong message of peace to the society. I think I would give it 4 stars out of five. I think the music was brilliant, and the directors did a brilliant job producing the music"
Sunita Paul, another housewife said, "The movie was exceptionally brilliant. Everything in the movie was very nice, right from the direction, to the music, to the cinematography. The direction was brilliant, and had a very strong message of peace to the public"
Mohammed Ghouse, an employee of U5 Global, India, said, "I think it was an excellent movie, and I think Muslims everywhere should watch the movie, and have this sort of an attitude. It brings out the true essence of Islam, and the direction was simply fabulous"
Though most movie goers loved the movie, there were some who thought it was a mediocre one. Vikram Sheshu, a Mechanical Engineer said, "I thought it was pretty bad, for one the story was very simple, and I would give it just about 3 stars out of five. For me, it didn't come off as a very good one, but considering the common view of most people, it looks to be a very good movie"
