Shah Rukh Khan & Kajol in the Backseat with MTV Iggy

Shah Rukh Khan. If you haven’t heard the name before, then you're sadly unaware of the world's biggest film industry -- Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan (SRK or King Khan as he's known to fans) is the brightest light among Bollywood's many stars, with over 72 films to his credit and a passionately devoted fan base large enough to populate all the Scandinavian countries and most of Europe. This dimpled, charming actor's films are invariably global box office smash hits and his track record would make any Hollywood executive grind his teeth with envy.

So anticipation for his latest film, My Name Is Khan, is high, to say the least. Especially since his co-star in the film is none other than Kajol Devgan, his leading lady in 5 previous features. To say the two have sizzling chemistry would be a understatement of colossal proportions -- their third film together, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, has played continuously in a Mumbai theater for over 750 weeks. It's been 8 long years since SRK and Kajol made a film together, so fans are trembling with eagerness for the Feb 12 release of My Name Is Khan. The film itself, however, is a bit of a departure -- SRK plays a Muslim man with Asperger's syndrome whose marriage to a Hindu woman (Kajol) falls apart in the aftermath of 9/11. Set in the US and India, My Name Is Khan tackles a series of complicated issues from the perspective of an ordinary man, both handicapped and heartbroken.

Hey now! Who knew Shah Rukh Khan would find this cab ride so relaxing??! As SRK + Kajol enjoy a night drive through New York City, their chatty cabbie Erhan asks them about S-E-X. And in this uncensored segment, SRK talks about dishy Hollywood babes, why Hindi films don't show sex onscreen (not just modesty! Don't miss his joke about stamina!), and goes on and on (and on) about those blue aliens having "tail sex" in "Avatar". Speaking of "Avatar", SRK would like to know why Bollywood films are considered more fantastical that life on Pandora -- "we just dance in the streets!"

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
