SRK returns to India after KKR's dismal show

NEW DELHI: Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan returned to India from South Africa Wednesday morning and the visibly upset Bollywood actor

said that he won't go back to cheer his team unless they win games in the second season of the IPL.

Speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW Shah Rukh mentioned that he won't go back to South Africa unless his team starts winning. He said, "If they do well I will go back. I am feeling sad for the boys because there is a lot of talent in the team. There is a lot of hard work to be done." ( Watch )

On the current skipper Brendon McCullum's run in this season King Khan said, "Brendon McCullum is fantastic. I just think he needs to get cracking with the bat. He needs to get out this bad run and come back into form. But then I think he will get back and get out of it."

Praising Sourav Ganguly's performance in South Africa, he added, "As always Dada is doing fantastic and very well. But the team needs to click together so as soon as they do that then they will win."

Knight Riders are having a lacklustre tournament so far with just one victory in their hands from 5 games. There have been talks of growing frustrations among the team members apart from a series of off-field controversies.

For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
