  3. Hi Shahrukh,

Feeling very much disappointment like many others KKR fans all over the world for such a poor performance by the team. I do not know whats going on inside the dressing room or whether you are were aware of the same or not. But I think (being a sports lover, knowledge about the game and being a cricketer) that team formation is not going the right way. First, dropping Sourav from Captainship was a wrong decision and next not selecting the best first eleven. Its still not over, we still have a chance if we do the right things right way. Secondly, replace McCullum as a Captain with Sourav and then the following would be the right team.

    1. Chris Gayle (Batsman/Allrounder)
    2. Cheteshwar Pujara (Batsman)
    3. Sourav Ganguly (Captain/Allrounder)
    4. Brendon McCullum (Batsman/Wicketkeeper)
    5. David Hussey/Brad Hodge/Morne van Wyk (Batsman/Allrounder)
    6. Yeshpal Singh (Batsman)
    7. Debobrata Das(Batsman)
    8. Laxmi Ratan Shukla (Allrounder)
    9. Ishant Sharma (Bowler)
    10. Charl Langeveldt / Mashrafe Mortaza (Bowler)
    11. Murali Kartik (Bowler)
    12. Sachin Rana/Ashok Dinda/Mohnish Parmar
If one more bowler required then Debobrata Das can be replaced with Ashok Dinda in the first eleven.

    This is just my opinion.

    Regards,
    Liyakat

  4. It has gone horribly wrong for KKR. One sensed it was bound to happen when Dada was removed and Buch started asserting himself.

Yesterday 05/05/09 game against Delhi, it was a shocker to see Dada not batting up the order and not bowling.

I personally think Dada should move out of this team. He has earned his pride and right to lead. If he is not allowed to then he should walk away. SRK has no clue in man management. Every thing is rosy in SRK land after he trusts Buch to run KKR.

Hope someone buys the team from him next season. Disgusted with the way things are handled at KKR is all I can say ......

Does anyone in the KKR bandwagon remember the name of the coach when India won the one day world cup ? or 20/20 world cup ?? An indian would do a splendid job instead of a coach who is constantly asking for the inclusion of more foreign players...

SRK somehow I credited you with more smarts that what you are displaying now.

Be ruthless...fire the bloody coach, and fielding coach too, change the captain. Get an performance linked incentive plan going to improve output on the filed. Nothing to lose now so make these rapid changes and lets try and win some games. Coach to be paid on the basis of games won. No wins no pay.

If you do not have the balls put me in charge FOC (no payment required) and I will clean up for you.

  5. I am a die hard fan of Cricket and I am frustrated to see how things going on for KKR.
Its at the top of merchandising and at the bottom of cricket.

A lot of things gets associated when some team shares a name of your hometown. I am always in favour of change and appreciate the bold step taken as McCulum been appointed the captain. But its evident from the body language of the entire team he has failed to gain the confidence of them all. May be too many cooks is spoiling the broth (6 coaches).

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
