SRK-Chopra to work their magic again

After a gap of nearly six years, ace director Yash Chopra is all set to helm a project once again. The film, yet untitled, will star his favourite star, Shah Rukh Khan, in the lead.

Our source said, "Yash Chopra, along with Aditya, have been working on a script for a while now. Once that is done with, Yash Chopra will slip behind the camera. The film is expected to hit the floors by August."

As usual, the film will have all that a Yash Chopra film is known for. "It will be a romantic movie where Shah Rukh will be paired opposite a new girl. It is a project which Chopra is very excited about," said our source.

Besides this ambitious venture, Yash Raj Films are also busy with, not one but, three moderate budget films. The promos of all the three films will hit the air soon. Yash Chopra has been wanting to wield the megaphone for quite a while now. Apparently, the director had even signed Preity Zinta for his next and wanted Aamir Khan to play the lead in it. The project, however, did not take off. But this year Yash Chopra is going to be back with a bang.

"It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
