Shah Rukh wants Vishal, Anurag, Mani, Raju Hirani, any takers??

Shah Rukh Khan, the King of bollywood, too, has a list of dream directors(Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap, Mani Ratnam, Raju Hirani) he would like to work with, and you know the list consists of mostly those names who had earlier  approached him to work with.

The top on the agenda is the name of 'Omkara' 'Kaminey' fame director Vishal Bhardwaj, who had approached King Khan but things did not work out between them. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan wanted some changes in the script of Vishal Bhardwaj, which the strong- headed filmmaker refused to oblige with and that had led to a showdown.

But hopefully now everything seems to have been fine between the two and only glitch is a suitable script and some other things. The next name on the list is that of Anurag Kashyap who made acclaimed flcik 'Dev D'.

There are talks that Shah Rukh Khan might work with the director in a Bombay trilogy project, likely to be produced by ace filmmaker 'Danny Boyle'. As far as Rajkumar Hirani is concerned, he had approached Shah Rukh Khan for his super duper hit 'Munnabhai MBBS', but King Khan was not prepared to work with him at the time. Finally, it was made with Sanjay Dutt and became a blockbuster at the box office.

Mani Ratnam, the veteran director of blockbusters like 'Dil Se', 'Yuva', and 'Guru' is the only director who has already worked with SRK and still present in his dream list. But unlike others, Mani Ratnam has yet to approach King Khan for another project.

But for the timbering, Mani Ratnam seems to be satisfied with his working chemistry with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in bollywood and does not intend to experiment with Shah Rukh Khan or any other actor as seems clear from his series with Abhishek—'Yuva', 'Guru' and now 'Raavan' on June 18.

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
