Sush, SRK, Fardeen promise paisa vasool

Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen is all charged about Viveck Vaswani's rib-tickling comedy Dulha Mil Gaya that opens tomorrow. And her excitement is understandable. Says Sush, "After a long time, I can truly say that this is my film because I have a very pivotal role in it. As it is I do less work, and when I do show up in a film, people are keen to see me doing something substantial. This is the kind of film that when I tell people to come and see, I'm taking full responsibility... because it is my film."

Sush says that each and every character in the film, especially those of Shah Rukh Khan and Fardeen Khan, is good and when a script is character-driven, it automatically works. Fardeen is not far behind in his endorsement. The actor, too, is confident that the film, which premieres tonight, is money-for-value entertainment. The dashing FK Jr says, "I am delighted. The entire cast and crew besides Sush and me completely believe in this film, which is why we are so excited to bring it to our audiences."

Debutant director Mudassar Aziz's romantic comedy is a film Fardeen is proud to be associated with. In fact, the premiere invite actually reads "Fardeen Khan and Sushmita Sen proudly invite you...!" Insight Production, presenters Morpheus Media Ventures and producer Viveck Vaswani promise a fun-filled Mumbai premiere with the film print being brought in on a baraat ki ghodi (wedding horse)! "My audience are the people I want to please and fortunately the reaction is overwhelming! Sush-FK-SRK just sizzle on screen!" says a delighted Mudassar.

Shah Rukh Khan More Pics It seems that superstar Shah Rukh Khan has still not come out of his superhero persona. After doing some death-defying stunts for sci-fi thriller " Ra.One", the actor took a 300 feet plunge while shooting for Farhan Akhtar's " Don 2" in Berlin. "Just did an over 300 feet base jump for Don... because you all make me believe I can fly. Time to tell kids about the birds and the bees... ha ha," Shah Rukh wrote on microblogging site Twitter. "My jump was last shot of day. Want to thank my duplicate and action team, to do it before me for wide shots and make me feel confident about it," he added. Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
