SRK not part of Roshans' Krissh 3

There has been a lot of buzz about Krissh 3.

Rumour mills were rife with reports that Hrithik Roshan would be seen in a double role while Shah Rukh Khan will play the villain.

There was also much speculation over the actress who would get to star opposite Hrithik. But the Roshans have now deemed all these 'stories' untrue.

Some sources had also claimed that SRK's closeness with the Roshans had transformed into a business deal. And it was rumoured that SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment would co-produce the film.

Rakesh Roshan, who is on the verge of finalising the film, has stated nothing like that will happen.

In fact, when Rakesh was working on the film's script, he had hoped to rope in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to direct Krissh 3. But even that won't be happening now.

Our sources tell us Rakesh's enthusiasm to get Mehra on board waned after the latter's Delhi 6 bit the dust at the box office. And the Roshans lost touch with him after the film released.

Now, it seems Rakesh will direct Krissh 3 himself . But this means that the Roshan camp will be stuck with its image of not getting along with outside directors. Grapevine is abuzz with the news that they didn't have a cakewalk during the making of Kites with Anurag Basu either.

Mehra, on his part, does not seem to be dying to work with the Roshans either. The director is currently busy with re-releasing Delhi 6 for the film festival circuit. Besides, he is also working on three projects simultaneously - including his much talked about Paanch Kaurav.

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
