Aarey is the biggest Maharashtra Government-owned producer of dairy products and Shah Rukh Khan is aware that an association with the brand will help him reach out to the masses in the remotest of areas.
Shah Rulh was particularly keen on endorsing the brand to promote his forthcoming film "My Name is Khan" and take it to a much larger audience.
So, to achieve the same, he was said to be sending regular letters to the Maharashtra Government.
Now SRK has finally succeeded in his endeavour and has become a brand ambassador for Aarey.
