SRK will groove to Tamil songs

King Khan to rock opening ceremony of IPL with Shriya Saran

He may not comprehend the language but that's hardly a deterrent for Shah Rukh Khan. The star will get jiggy to Tamil tracks for his opening ceremony performance at the Indian Premier League 2011 tonight.

As the setting is Chennai, a local flavour is being imparted to King Khan's show. Popular Tamil tracks have been selected for the star to groove on which will also be a singularly unique experience for him.

All this while he has danced to his B-Town tracks, so watching him move to South tracks will also be a unique experience for the audience.

SRK will do the finale segment of the opening ceremony along with actress Shriya Saran. Their act will also include some of his Bollywood tracks.

The opening ceremony event is being managed by Wizcraft with SRK's act coordinated by Cineyug.

Says a source, "Shah Rukh will enter the stadium in an army tank. There is a fusion in store for the audience."
The star's moves are being choreographed by Ganesh Hegde.
