Shah Rukh beats Aamir's record

Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One has beaten Aamir Khan's film 3 Idiots' record of the highest price for satellite rights. Ra.One's satellite rights have been bought for a whopping amount of Rs 40 crore. The rights for 3 Idiots were sold for Rs 36 crore, reported Mid-Day.

Ra.One is also one of the costliest films so far and with state of the art technology and snazzy costumes, this is no surprise. SRK's Ra.One has several international celebrities; the special effects are being done by Hollywood artists, so this film sure needs to recover its costs.

And this is just the beginning, knowing Shah Rukh, he will leave no stone unturned in promoting the film and he'll do it with style!
