We last saw him in two roles in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and as a superstar in Billu. Next up is Dulha Mil Gaya and though it is still a long wait Shah Rukh Khan will be back on the silver screen on September 18th. Producer Viveck Vaswani has confirmed that 100% of the filming is done, all that is left is the final dubbing. "So now let me state on record that 18th September is the day when my film arrives. I can assure that it's going to be one BIG festival movie. Dulha Mil Gaya is about celebration and the release timelines for the movie should further aid that," Vaswanit told Joginder Tuteja.
Despite still recovering from his shoulder surgery, Shah Rukh completed his work on Dulha Mil Gaya, shooting for three days and three nights. Speaking to IANS Vaswani said, "The moment he thought he was ready, he came for the film's shoot. He could have rested, but he chose to finish the film first. With these three days of shooting, Shah Rukh has now completed his entire portion for the film. The man is a bundle of energy. He just breezed through his part and before we knew, we were done."
SRK shot for a song sequence, a qawalli that is an amazing eight minutes long, which Vaswani says is a highlight of the film. The entire cast including SRK, Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan as well as Tara Sharma, Johny Lever, Parikshat Sahni, Bina Kak, Howard Rosemeyer, Suchitra Pillai, debutante Isshita Sharma and Vaswani himself will be seen in the song.
The other sequence that was shot will be used as a promotional video and will be seen during the end credits. "This one is going to be a special number too and there's a lot in store for Shah Rukh Khan fans." What that treat will be we will all have to wait and watch and impatiently count down the days until September 18th and Dulha Mil Gaya finally gets here!
