Shahrukh Khan and Farah long term friendship experiences a rift

Life likes to play funny tricks and cruel jokes on people who plan way ahead of their time and think that nothing can happen to change that plan. The age old adage "never say never" is actually true and it can be seen with the latest development in the loving friendship of Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan. When Farah casted Akshay Kumar in her up coming movie "Tees Mar Khan", a number of eyebrows in the film industry were raised.

Choreographer turned director Farah had publicly said when she was making her first film "Main Hoon Na" with long time
buddy Shahrukh, that she would never work with anyone other then him. This statement held truth for her second film "Om Shanti Om" but then with her third movie she casted Akshay and Shahrukh was definitely not in it.

Rumors have it that both King Khan and Farah had a fall out but both of them are keeping mum about it for the moment. When asked Farah about casting Akshay she cleared "things changed, circumstances changed and a lot of other things happened that made me go for Akshay." Tees Mar Khan which is releasing this Christmas has Akshay and Katrina as the lead actors. Farah, given her words that she would always work with Shahrukh said that she is actually quite impressed with Akshay's work and they enjoyed a lot in this project.

Shahrukh on the other hand is busy with Don2 which is a sequel to Farhan Akhtar's Don. He is very busy with his schedule in Berlin and has hardly got time to comment on the situation between him and long term friend Farah Khan. Audiences on the other hand are eager to know as to what is going on with the two of them but they also are waiting eagerly for Tees Mar Khan and Don2.

"Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
