Shah Rukh at a fashion show

The inauguration of the much-hyped giant wheel in Delhi may have been given a 'nay' by the cops, but the show by fashion house Satya Paul continued nevertheless, keeping up the spirit of that evening.

Charm Personified: Shah Rukh Khan landed up at the fashion show, where he was his usual charming self. The moment he entered the hall, a shout went up from the crowd, and it kept up the screaming for while! Cameras and phone cameras went up and there was many a flash as people clicked his pictures. Shah Rukh said, "Delhi has changed so much over the years. It is nice to see new flyovers and the Metro in the city. I remember that as a child, I'd go out with my friends to melas, but I've never had the experience of sitting on a giant wheel. I wouldn't say that I'm scared of giant wheels, it's just that I didn't try a ride on one!"

The hot and sexy Malaika Arora Khan was the showstopper, in a sexy multi-coloured sari and halter blouse, and she was as sassy and uber-glam on the ramp as ever. The after show party saw performances by singers Akriti Kakar and Raghav Sachar. Said Jyoti Narula of Satya Paul, "Celebrating 25 years of Satya Paul's existence is a great feeling. This journey was a wonderful one and we're looking forward to the next 25 years."

"It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
