Vishal gives up Dreams for SRK

Vishal gives up Dreams for SRK

It seems Vishal Bharadwaj's dream to make Dreams will remain just that, a dream.

The film which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons seems to be finally shelved. After much debate between Saif Ali Khan and Abhay Deol and back to Saif — with Deepika signing and subsequently backing out — it seems that Vishal, as well as producer Ekta Kapoor, are no longer interested in making the film. Vishal meanwhile has moved ahead and is all set to make a film with SRK.

Our source said, "As of now the film has been put on the backburner. To top it, Vishal is now all set to make a film with SRK and is working on the script. Saif meanwhile has been busy with Agent Vinod and has announced his own home production which will be directed by Homi Adjania. He is also going to be shooting for Prakash Jha's film Aarakshan.

Abhay meanwhile is still upset because he was dropped to accomodate Saif again. Vishal had also planned a film with Hrithik which also did not take off after the initial announcement," said our source.

Vishal is making the film based on Chetan Bhagat's best seller 2 States.

"It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec
