Pampering Shah Rukh Khan at the Zee Cine Awards

A top-notch presidential suite at the the hotel where the Zee Cine Awards will commence today, in Singapore, has been readied to welcome superstar Shah Rukh Khan who will be performing at the awards. Shah Rukh has a choc-a-bloc schedule and immediately after the awards night, he is supposed to fly off to shoot for his television show which is being shot in Argentina.

Shah Rukh also just performed in South Africa to celebrate the friendship between the two countries. To top it all, his next super-hero film is on the anvil of release and SRK has apparently told his close aides that what he is missing most as of now, is some rest and some time for himself. The concerned persons communicated this to the awards organisers and they are leaving no stone unturned to make him feel at home.

"We have reserved the grand presidential suite for Shah Rukh Khan. His suite is the best that we have here. And we will ensure that the jet lag doesn't affect him," a hotel staffer said. And Shah Rukh, a thorough professional, made his entry into the awards venue for a quick rehearsal, barely a few hours after he arrived at the hotel.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh who seems to be happy with the arrangements made for him apparently wants to come back with his family for a family vacation, something he is longing to do for some time now but couldn't because of his hectic schedule.

Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec
