Shahrukh Khan as G.One: Mesmerising first look of Ra.One

We have been swooning over the western superheroes viz. the Spiderman, Superman and Batman. But now it's time to revere our own Indian counterpart. Shahrukh Khan is here in the garbs of a superhero and he shall be breathing life to G.One, the superhero character he plays in the much awaited film 'Ra.One.'

SRK shall be seen fighting the villain 'Ra.One' (played by Arjun Rampal) in this humongous film which is being touted as 2011's most hyped caper. Though not much is known about the exact storyline, the film deals with video gaming and SRK had once let out that his character would have the power to solidify electricity.

If the very 1st look of the film is anything to go by, then it is a mesmerising view that SRK fans get to watch. SRK stands in his lean, slightly hunky postureall around him. (reminding of his 'Om Shanti Om' look) and there is a blue streak everywhere. His eyes are fiery blue with a streak of electricity

The superhero costume that he is seen wearing is pretty costly (reportedly, it costs over Rs one crore) and the film itself is one of the most expensive ones ever made in Bollywood.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film stars SRK, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Shahana Goswami amongst others and is slated to release sometime during Diwali.

Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec
