Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol won the Best Actor and Actress award respectively for My Name Is Khan at the 56th Filmfare Awards, which was otherwise ruled by small budget movie Udaan that bagged as many as eight trophies. Karan Johar walked away with the Best Director award for My Name Is Khan , while Salman Khan starrer Dabangg was declared the Best Film at the gala event, hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan. But it's the first-time director Vikramaditya Motwane's Udaan that bagged maximum awards. Shah Rukh Khan had a nervous night as his 10-year-old daughter Suhana was admitted to the Lilavati hospital on Thursday night. Suhana was running a high fever and she had to be rushed to the doctor. The Bombay High Court today dismissed a PIL against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for alleged violation of construction norms as "frivolous" and imposed a cost on the petitioner for wasting its time. Activist Simpreet Singh had filed a PIL against the actor alleging that a building, an extension of his bungalow "Mannat", a heritage property, had been constructed in gross violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) and other rules. A division bench of Justice P B Majmudar and A Sayed threw out the PIL after observing that the petitioner had targeted the film star only for publicity. "There are so many buildings in the same line as Shah Rukh's building. Why have you (petitioner) taken an objection against only this building? Simply because he is a film star?," the bench asked. According to the petition, the place where the building stands was reserved for an art gallery. The state government, however, informed the court that the reservation...

Back in Mumbai after a hectic travel schedule, actor Shah Rukh Khan says that he has never experienced jet-lag in his life. The only effect that the months of incessant travelling has on him is that he, sometimes, loses track of time. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Pakistani cousin Noor Jehan is looking forward to a reunion with him after over a decade, when she visits India next month. Noor Jehan, a resident of the Shah Wali Qataal area of Peshawar, last met Shah Rukh when she travelled to Mumbai in 1997. She is hoping to meet the 'King Khan' of Bollywood when she visits India to attend the wedding of a relative. "I am going to New Delhi in the first week of February and will stay there for around 10 days.
