Shah Rukh, Paris at World Cup finals party

Celebrities from all over the world will rub shoulders at tonight's final in South Africa.

The bold and the beautiful are flying in from everywhere to attend tonight's finals of the FIFA world cup, even as it looks uncertain whether Nelson Mandela will be able to present the trophy.

Leading the charge is Bollywood's box-office superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, who is to watch tonight's final between Spain and the Netherlands en famille. "Taking kids for the matches (World Cup) in South Africa," Khan said on his Twitter feed ahead of the trip. "Soccer is beautiful...will play today if it rains. Rains and soccer more of a turn on than a singing in the rain."

But whether he will be able to keep his eyes on the match is a big question. South African hottie Charlize Theron is also set to attend – and the pair are likely to be seated together in the same VIP pavilion."All the celebs have special protection and security cover and have got tickets to be seated in exclusive areas at the finals. What's really interesting to hear is that SRK has got tickets in the same pavilion as South African diva Charlize Theron and a couple of other international celebs. However, complete plans about who's sitting where will only be seen when the match begins,"  India's DNA newspaper quoted an anonymous source as saying.

Along the way to the final, Khan has kept fans posted on his activities, puttintg up pictures and talking of his wife's love for designer fashion: "Gotta go now & find german t shirts on the roadside...wife refusing to wear football jerseys...do they do designer stuff for world cup," he said on Twitter yesterday.

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
