SRK has a Valentine date

Shah Rukh Khan's My Name is Khan — director Karan Johar's highly anticipated film — will open in theatres in India and over 40

countries including the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East on the Valentine's Day weekend (February 12, 2010).

The movie reunites SRK and Kajol after eight long years. They have previously starred in five films together, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, all blockbuster hits, establishing the pair as B-Town's hottest on-screen couple. In My Name is Khan, SRK stars as Rizvan Khan, an unconventional hero who embarks on an incredible journey across America to win back the love of his life. Along the way his unique brand of goodness and humanity touches the lives of many and inspires a nation. "MNK is an epic love story. What sets it apart is the landscape on which it unfolds. Though I keep setting out to do something different with my films, the one constant is my desire to continue to explore the many ways in which two people can fall in love and stay in love regardless of any or every challenge against them," says Karan.

Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
