Shah Rukh says, “I’m accepting gifts till this weekend, so all of you who wish to give me something can do so till Sunday.

The whole week is a celebration for our Baadshah. His birthday was more of a festival for his fans and gifts are still pouring in at the star's doorstep, from all over the world. Amusingly, Shah Rukh says, "I'm accepting gifts till this weekend, so all of you who wish to give me something can do so till Sunday." He considers media as his friend for it is the one who reminds his birthday at least 4-5 days in advance.

Shah Rukh states that the year was an unfortunate physical year but a good emotional one. While there was disappointment through his IPL Team's poor performance, SRK earned couple of prestigious honours on the other hand. Though he was away from the shooting spot due to his shoulder injury, he has been active in finishing his book '20 Years of A Decade'.

However one can see him in full action and josh in 'Ra 1'. "It is something I'm kicked about. It's a film that children are going to love. It will have action, special effects and a super hero," said the excited hero.

He has no qualms to rough it out in shooting action scenes and he feels quite energetic and happy in spite of his surgery. "Physically, I feel 25-26. But I have no problems in accepting that I'm 44. In fact, if I look good, then the media writes that I've done plastic surgery. Honestly, if I sleep well, then I look good," said Khan. He said the secret is that on the days when he sleeps well, he looks good and the days when he doesn't, he looks old.

After a long gap we will see him with Kajol in Karan Johar's 'My Name Is Khan' next year in February. Besides this he has Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year', 'Don 2'. He will be rendering his voice for animation flick, 'Koochie Koochie Hota Hain'. So people here is apna Shah Rukh back in the field!

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
