SRK back in serial with Tiger

His career took an impressive turn with this serial. And now, Shah Rukh Khan is going back to his roots. The serial 'Fauji' was well-received by the viewers of bygone days, who had Doordarshan as their only entertainment channel. Now it is coming back as 'Fauji 2' and so is our King Khan. Well, will he able to recreate the magic of the original again? Time will tell…

The serial will be handled by the actor's production Red Chilies Idiot Box. Fauji 2 has another interesting twist to it. The serial is expected to be a launch pad for Jackie Shroff's son, Tiger. But the team are still waiting for Tiger's approval. If the 18-yr old gives his nod, then he would be cast as Shah Rukh's son in the serial. Meanwhile sources said that the show is being scripted under the supervision of Colonel Kapoor who wrote Fauji.

Hmm, let's see whether this serial will join in the battle of other shows on the small screens.

Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
