For the last week, strange rumours have been circulating in the film industry about Shah Rukh and Aamir. The buzz is that it's being spread to cause dissension between the two stars.
Big money
A source in the film industry says, "According to rumours, Shah Rukh and the Moranis, the organisers of SRK's Temptations Reloaded tour, have been wooing Aamir and his nephew Imran to join the tour while offering them an astronomical amount. The two are considering the offers. The news being spread is that Shah Rukh has been wooing Aamir desperately with offers of unimaginable proportions to make the tour a bigger success than the Bachchans tour, The Unforgettables. This is making Aamir so uncomfortable that he has started avoiding them both."
The source adds, "The stories are completely untrue as Aamir hasn't been approached by the Moranis or SRK to appear on the shows. Obviously, someone is out to create a rift between the two superstars, who still remain firm friends in spite of the Salman-SRK fight. After Salman and SRK, this appears to be another attempt to drive a wedge between SRK and Aamir. The news was spread in such a way as to appear that it came from Aamir's side, which was far from the truth."
It's a small show
When we quiz Shah Rukh whether he has approached Aamir for the Temptations Reloaded tour for a huge amount he says, "Firstly, this is not a full-fledged show. It's just a small show that is being done now as I couldn't finish it in May because of the IPL. These are shows in four cities like I do for ICICI etc where they have outlets, so it is four shows sponsored by them. The show can't afford too many stars. It just about makes it with me and another actress or two so having anyone else on board is not an option."
A source close to Aamir says, "It's not true. Aamir is not even in talks for the shows so how can he consider the proposal? He hasn't been approached by Shah Rukh or the Moranis at all for the Temptations Reloaded tour."
Mohammed Morani says, "We really don't know where the news is coming from. It's false news."
Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif are slated to be part of the Temptation shows that will be held in Berlin (October 17), in Munich (October 18), Frank-furt (October 19), Barcelona (October 20) and in the Gulf (from October 21 to 23).

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec

'Every Damn Time,' Tweets Shah Rukh Khan, Detained At US Airport

Movie star Shah Rukh Khan, detained at an airport in the US for questioning again, tweeted on Thursday: "Every damn time!" The 50-year-old actor was detained at the Los Angeles airport this time. A man with the same name is on a US no-fly list of 80,000 people. He took to Twitter to voice his exasperation. I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks. @iamsrk  The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons. @iamsrk  Mr Khan, one of the most successful stars in the Hindi film industry, has been held back at US airports thrice in seven years. American officials tell NDTV that during immigration checks, what pops up is a name without any other detail to help draw a distinction. In April 2012, Mr Khan was held back for over two hours at the airport in New York on a visit to address students at Yale University. He had joked later at Yale: "Whenever I start fee
