"India is a very young market," said Choksi. The men's jewellery market is an untapped segment in India he added. "If there is no market yet for men's jewellery we can still create a space for it," he emphasized adding that "this is the beauty of India!"
The men's collection will be called 'King Collection' and is targeted at mature men in the age group of 25-45 years.
Early last month at JCK New Delhi 2008 in an interview with JCKIndia.com, Choksi had mentioned that Gitanjali was planning to get King Khan as their brand ambassador; he however refused to reveal the brand name.
The men's collection will be priced between Rs15,000 to Rs1 lakh.
