Shah Rukh Khan to Repeat Epic Train Sequences in Aditya Chopra's 'Fan'

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is busy shooting Aditya Chopra's upcoming film "Fan", will reportedly have train sequences much like Khan's previous hit movies.

Be it "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", "Dil Se", "RA.One" or "Chennai Express", Khan had train sequences in almost all his big films and it appears like the epic scene will be repeated in "Fan" too.

"The set for the scene consisted of three train wagons that were recreated in the studio. One of the wagons was only half made so that the interiors could be shot with ease." a source close to the production house told Hindustan Times.

Apparently, the actor has already finished shooting for the action sequence last week at a suburban studio in Mumbai.

It looks like train sequences have proved lucky for the "Happy New Year" actor, whether it is dancing above the train like in the popular song "Chaiyya Chaiyya" from "Dil Se" or a film based on train "Chennai Express", all have worked wonders for the Bollywood king.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Fan" is supposedly based on the story of a fan who is on a mission to meet the one he has idolized for long.

Ileana D'Cruz of "Barfi!" fame, will apparently play the lead actress opposite Khan. However, the makers have not officially announced D'Cruz's involvement in the film.

Further, director, Maneesh Sharma has kept the film's content as a secret, and the entire cast and crew of "Fan" have been banned from using mobile phones on the sets, in order to prevent pictures getting leaked from the sets.

There were also reports that Khan will sport a different look in the film, for which Academy Award-winning make-up artist Greg Cannom known for his special effects, has been roped in to create a unique look for the actor in the film.

Written by Habib Faisal, "Fan" is scheduled to release worldwide on 14 August 2015.

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec
