Bollywood stars promise the concert of a lifetime

Shahrukh even congratulated the UAE for winning the rights to host Expo 2020 as he lauded the 'marvellous' achievement. 

Bollywood's biggest stars are promising the concert of a lifetime for Dubai residents with a galaxy of stars descending on the city to perform at the 'Access All-Areas' concert, tonight. Shahrukh Khan will lead the power-packed performances with Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yo Yo Honey Singh expected to join the act.

Promising a night to remember, Shahrukh Khan was at his usual best during a press conference hosted on Saturday afternoon.

"You never get a better audience than you get in Dubai. Post midnight, it will be the UAE National Day and we will definitely celebrate it," said Shahrukh.

Admitting he was an ardent fan of Madhuri's dancing skills, Shahrukh said, "We all watch her from backstage whenever she is dancing."

The star even congratulated the UAE for winning the rights to host Expo 2020 as he lauded the 'marvellous' achievement.

"I dedicate the Access All Areas debut show to every citizen and resident of this magnificent country, as a token of congratulations from the Indian Film Industry," he said.  The night will go down as a memorable one with Madhuri Dixit performing in Dubai after 18 years.

 "It feels wonderful to be here in Dubai. The last time I performed here was in 1995. I can't tell you how happy I am," said Madhuri during the press conference.  The concert will be hosted at Dubai Sports City cricket stadium and a 20,000 strong crowd will see the stars perform later tonight. Shahrukh is expected to perform to musical hits from his latest movie Chennai Express with co-star Deepika Padukone, in what is being billed as a live performance to remember.

Yo Yo Honey Singh fans will be treated to a visual delight when he joins the stars for a Lungi Danceon stage.  "It is just the beginning of my career and in such a shot span of time I am with legends. I always wanted to be next to him and learn," said Honey Singh who turned up in a Kandoora.
