Sources say that Dr Ali Irani, who examined King Khan's shoulder injury on Wednesday, was of the view that Shah Rukh Khan would have to continue with his physiotherapy and theraband exercises for two more months to be able to do action sequences in his films. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan's shoulder injury has recuperated to almost ninety percent and there are indications that it would completely heal within two months, if Shah Rukh Khan could take proper care of it.
Doctors have warned Shah Rukh Khan to continue with theraband exercises even during outdoor shooting spells, as only that can strengthen his injured shoulder muscles.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan's sci-fi 'Ra.One' had been postponed due to his shoulder injury as the film required King Khan to perform breath taking action sequences. Sources say that Shah Rukh plays a superman in the film and so the stunt sequences were the backbone of the whole venture.
At that time Shah Rukh had started the shooting of Karan Johar's flick 'My Name Is Khan' to utilize the time, made available by the postponement of 'Ra.One', as it (Karan's flick) needed only intense emotional sequences.
This time too, history seems to be repeating itself with 'Ra.One' getting postponed for Farah Khan's upcoming flick 'Happy Birth Day', which does not require King Khan to flex his muscles. Another reason, said to have gone in favor of Farah Khan, is that Eros people were not very enthusiastic about Anubhav Sinha's film, while they were more trusting towards Farah Khan genre of filmmaking.
It may be recalled that it all had started with Sushmita Sen starrer flick 'Dulha Mil Gaya', wherein Shah Rukh was playing a cameo. While enacting a sequence in the film, Shah Rukh injured his left shoulder, and he was advised to take rest till the shoulder was fully healed.
Shah Rukh Khan had also undergone an arthroscopy surgery in February 2008 for his troubled shoulder at reputed Breach Candy hospital, and since then has been under medical supervision.
