Shah Rukh Khan has always been on his toes but this time the actor had to rest for two months after his shoulder surgery which happened on Feb16th at Breach Candy Hospital. The actor was told atleast two months of rest and now he is slowly recovering from the pain and so now he will be back to shoot for Karan Johar's My Name is Khan…"We spoke to SRK's close source,
"He would start shooting for My Name Is Khan very soon, either by next week or by the end of the month."
It has been a while since Shahrukh Khan has been nursing his shoulder that has gone through a surgery recently and he was at home spending time with his children, reading scripts et al.His last public appearance was at the Filmfare awards, 2009 at the Yash Raj Studios. The date of his resuming shooting is still not fixed but Karan Johar overall will be very happy that his close friend will be back to work and also it will be good for all Kolkata Knight Riders fans as the King Khan will be seen cheering for his team during IPL.The actor was injured while shooting an action sequence for Dulha Mil Gaya. We hope to see SRK back at work with good health.

Whole day various TV Channels are frenzily calling the dethroning of Sourav a foul tactics through John. In last T20, He had won so many matches with his own dazling performances with Bat and Ball.

People are saying, Next year hardly anyone will welcome you in Kolkata, there will be no crowd craze in the ground -- 75% of them come to the ground to watch Dada and nobody else.
You have now become your worst enemy. Do you know that the most popular newspaper here, The Telegraph had first headline on their Sports page this morning in extra-large font declared " SHAHRUKH : WE RESPECT DADA'S GENIUS
and THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE IN CAPTAINCY" With a big photo of you and Dada together.

for IPL, how do you feel about carrying out giant screen coverage mega events at Eden Gardens for the KKR matches in SA? the concept is from soccer matches in some places where due to the violence and security problems, spectators watch it in stadiums but on giant screen while the action is elsewhere.
throw in the mix, bits of your superb live stage shows that only you would be able to put together... and we could have a highly marketable and popular thing here.

ReplyDeleteI am an old, dedicated and dieherd fan of yours. I am extremely ditressed at various TV channel coverage and press coverage of the recent ugly imbroglio in the KKR team.
Why did you come to Cricket ? Film is your Arena where you are the undisputed King.
I am also feeling very miserable that newspapers are giving more front-page coverage to John Buchanan implying that he has more credibility—at least he does what he says and one channel has questioned your integrity by indicating that you are an aysa bhi oysa bhi type person. They do not know how great a person you are.
I played Womens’ Cricket at various levels. It appeared to me that you might not have played any cricket and may not know the nuances and sentiments attached with the game. I thought , I may try and help you to understand things and help you stump the ideas which experts are calling ludicrous, at best.
I will be extremely delighted if you kindly consider the following :
a) Rajasthan Royals owner L Modi did not appoint any Coach for his Team and they became the Champion. He could appoint anybody. Why did not he? T20 Game is so short and the IPL teams have such great Players that there is no time for real coaching. There is no scope or job for any big time coach here—he is not getting the team for the whole year. He will only try to create job for him and snatch the focus onto him instead of on the team and this will cost the team dearly.
b) Buchanan has said that if he was in Sourav Ganguly’s place, he would have been upset. What does it mean ? Does he mean that he designed things to upset the highest run getter of KKR ? If he can not provide mental peace and security to the top players, he is not worth a college team coach—this much I have understood from my cricket. Has he become too old , his brain has rusts now?
c) He has said there will be a Batting Captain, a Bowling Captain, a Fielding Captain, and a Wicket-keeping Captain in the team. Now in the long form of the game some wild coach may try this out. But within 20 overs, a bowler will go to fielding Captain, wicket-keeping Captain besides the bowling Captain is madness.
d) In Football, the Captain remains invisible on the field. If I am not told who is the captain, I will never know. In Football, every planning, each move is chalked out during practice sessions—month after month. There the role of a coach is primary. Cricket is very dynamic and complicated. Decisions are taken on the field and strictly implemented by Captain.
e) Buchanan also mentions that he may have rotating captains. Is not there any seriousness ? In that short period, they will have a merry-go-round mentality. I have seen this happening. It is like “ I am responsible for the Games in which I am the Captain. Let the other Captain loose their games—so that my talent of captaincy is discovered by Buchanan.” Is it how tough Championships are played ? How Sourav Ganguly , the winner of 3 Man-of the Matches in last IPL will feel ?
If John wants to develop somebody as a future Captain, he would have put him under Sourav Ganguly as understudy and Vice Captain. His intentions will only spread madness in the team.
f) If Buchnan is worried about Sourav Ganguly’s age then what about Sanath, Shane, Sachin and so many other veterans who outperformed the kids in the last IPL.
Is not Shahrukh still better than the new comers ? I have no doubt in my mind, being a first day first show viewer of Shahrukh’s Films.
I have already troubled you with a long letter. Please give it consideration. Please save yourself from sick people.

As the people of Kolkata we have a feeling that SRK is the person from the general category of Kolkata . But the present insultation on our Local hero DADA has to be claified by SRK . Other wise we will force MR>SRK to change the name of his Team . We had the support on him only because we had an idea that he came to Kolkata to give the opportunity to the young cricketers. But now it is very clear the the RED CHILLIES are very much interested for their business . The insultation on DADA has to be apologised by the CEO Mr. Joy , who is the main person behind it . ....
