Shah Rukh Khan reveals the secret of his success, as an actor and IPL team boss, with his characteristic endearing humility, in an interview with CNN.

Khan says his role as an IPL team boss is to cheer, dance and cry with his boys, not tell them what they must do.

"I have never shouted at them, I have only hugged them. I have cried with them, when we have lost; I have danced with them, when we have lost," Shah Rukh says.

"I am an emotional boss," he adds.

He expresses surprise that he is considered a good businessman.

"I don't know how to do business," he says.

Also, Khan, who credits his 1988 TV services Fauji, in which he played Abhimanyu Rai, to his success as an actor, recalls the days when he was relatively unknown in Mumbai.

"It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
