Back problem or not, Arjun Rampal is in no mood to make way for any other actor to replace him in Ra1. He is undergoing intense treatment to cure his back so he can shoot for Ra1. The hunk had been signed to play the villain in Shah Rukh Khan's home production, but it was unsure if he would be able to do it as he had severe troubles with his back. The film required serious stunts and Arjun's back problem had put a question mark on his availability. However, Arjun is now well on his way to complete recovery.
Director Anubhav Sinha, who always believed Arjun suited the role perfectly, is of course a relieved man. In fact, he has even found a way to circumvent the problem of Arjun having to do heavy-duty stunts with SFX technology. So all is well for Ra1.
