First time that I got SRK on the couch alone--Karan Johar

If you chalk out best buddies in the B-town, then Karan Johar and SRK will supposedly top the list.

Despite being in good terms with SRK's rival, Salman Khan, Karan Johar still shares amicable relations with King Khan and holds a special place in his life.

Yesterday, Karan shot with SRK for his celebrity chat show, 'Koffee With Karan' alone, as KJo believes that calling anyone else with SRK would have got the energies divided.

Karan and SRK's chat made the episode spicier
The episode was palpably much different from the earlier ones as the duo enjoyed and gossiped about the latest happenings.

Host Karan, who probably got emotional on having his best buddy on the show, said, "This is a slight deviation from our usual chatty, controversial Koffee episode.

"Intellectual and intense was the mantra for the episode with Shah Rukh. This time we have covered what really makes him tick and who better than me, his closest friend, to explore that space!

"We took a call and decided to have him solo as with another person, the energies get divided."

"This is the first time that I got SRK on the couch alone," added Karan.

Karan thought of inviting SRK alone as Shahrukh had not done any solo interview since long and having the duo alone, would make the episode more spicier and dramatic.

SRK took two gift hampers
Though you will get to know what "dostana" the duo shared on the show, as per the sources, it seems to be full of exciting revelations.

Interestingly, SRK took two hampers to home. Hold on, it does not mean that KJo played two rounds of rapid fire with him.

Apparently, one was the KJo's goodie bag, while the other was a special gift by Nature's Basket.

This episode of 'Koffee With Karan' will be aired on Jan. 1, 2011. Apparently, a good beginning for the show and viewers.

SRK plunges 300 feet

Shah Rukh Khan More Pics It seems that superstar Shah Rukh Khan has still not come out of his superhero persona. After doing some death-defying stunts for sci-fi thriller " Ra.One", the actor took a 300 feet plunge while shooting for Farhan Akhtar's " Don 2" in Berlin. "Just did an over 300 feet base jump for Don... because you all make me believe I can fly. Time to tell kids about the birds and the bees... ha ha," Shah Rukh wrote on microblogging site Twitter. "My jump was last shot of day. Want to thank my duplicate and action team, to do it before me for wide shots and make me feel confident about it," he added. Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
