Shahrukh Khan Prays For His Parents In Heaven On The Occasion Of Eid

Occasion Of Eid

shahrukh-khan1.jpgShahrukh Khan was a bit emotional on the auspicious occasion of Eid. He missed his parents a lot on the day as recalled the time when he was the youngest in the family.

How was your Eid celebrations?

Happy Eid to everyone! I keep my Eid celebrations simple because ours is a multi-cultural family. I like my children to pray on this day. After wazu [ablution], we do our namaaz [prayers]. The effort is to let my children know the religion and what it teaches you. My parents are no more, so I pray for them too.

Have you given or received Idi [the amount given as gift on Eid] from anyone?

I am the eldest in the family, so I give Idi. The time has gone when I used to get Idi but I still wish I were the youngest in the family. I am now a father, so I have to take care of my family and friends.

Would you like to be friends with anyone on this day?

I am not angry with anyone and I don't harbour ill feelings for anyone. When a person matures, he just can't listen to horrible things from his own family members. You shower love on everyone without expecting anything in return. No one thinks ill for anyone, such thoughts creep in our mind when we start giving importance to ourselves.

I have now reached a point where I can't and don't think ill of anyone. I can't do bad to anyone. It is likely that I may not think good for anyone or not think anything for anyone. Live life with your family and friend and share love with all. Source

'Every Damn Time,' Tweets Shah Rukh Khan, Detained At US Airport

Movie star Shah Rukh Khan, detained at an airport in the US for questioning again, tweeted on Thursday: "Every damn time!" The 50-year-old actor was detained at the Los Angeles airport this time. A man with the same name is on a US no-fly list of 80,000 people. He took to Twitter to voice his exasperation. I fully understand & respect security with the way the world is, but to be detained at US immigration every damn time really really sucks. @iamsrk  The brighter side is while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons. @iamsrk  Mr Khan, one of the most successful stars in the Hindi film industry, has been held back at US airports thrice in seven years. American officials tell NDTV that during immigration checks, what pops up is a name without any other detail to help draw a distinction. In April 2012, Mr Khan was held back for over two hours at the airport in New York on a visit to address students at Yale University. He had joked later at Yale: "Whenever I start fee...
