Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan to go on floors on 15 Dec

Dharma Productions' Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer -My Name is Khan, which is being directed by Karan Johar will go on floors on 15 December.

The shooting will commence in Los Angeles. The cast of the movie has been finalized and song recording has also begun. The film is about Rizvan Khan (to be played by SRK), who suffers from Aspergers syndrome.

Johar will be going for the final location recce with director of photography Ravi K.Chandran, production designer Sharmishta Roy and costumes designers Manish Malhotra and Shiraz Siddique.

"The message that runs right through the film is in strong support of humanity, which at the end of the day is the only way to rise above any of the cultural or religious differences that continue to engulf us," Johar wrote in his blog.

On the other hand, Dharma Productions' other film Wake Up Sid! starring Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma is likely to go on floors in a couple of days. The movie will be directed by debutant Ayan Mukherji.

'Every Damn Time,' Tweets Shah Rukh Khan, Detained At US Airport
