SRK won't follow Karan

So what if Karan Johar made his biggest campus hit Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
with Shah Rukh Khan? SRK doesn't want to follow his buddy's success
formula in his own campus flick Always Kabhi Kabhi.
"Instead of creating a make-believe fun and frolic-filled campus, Shah
Rukh has kept the setting of his film believable," says a crewmember,
adding "He knows that times have changed and audience today is much
more demanding than before."

Substantiating this, Roshan Abbas says, "Yes, the setting is certainly
not Riverdale High. We are telling a high school story, but nobody's
trying to be overtly cool here. We're very believable in our
aesthetics."
