ShahRukh Disappoints Fans

The Red Chilies Production Film Billo Barber which is the remake of Rajnikanth starrer ShahRukh Disappoints Fans 'Kuselan' will not be released this Diwali. The release has been postponed to early next year. According to sources, two songs of the movie are yet to be shot and with a large scale marketing plan in the pipe line; it will be very difficult to release the film in month from now.

However the flop of the original film seems to be the most probable cause. Even the die hard fans of Rajnikanth were not able to give any credit to the movie. Having learnt their lesson, the director Priyadarshan and producer SRK have decided to re-shoot a few scenes and also shorten the duration of the film to 150 minutes as compared to 180 min in the original.

The film could have had an early or mid November release but then that would disturb Karan Johar's plan of releasing 'Dostana,' and for Shah Rukh friends are important. As for King Khan this is not a setback because his Yash Raj banner film with Aditya Chopra as the Director is all set to release on 12 December. This has also been seen as one of the reasons for the delay of Billo Barber as SRK does not want to give an over dose of himself to the audience

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
