Shahrukh Khan-Prithviraj's nayi dosti

As Shahrukh Khan recuperates from his recent shoulder surgery, there has been a steady stream of friends dropping by to spend some time with the superstar.

From Farhan Akhtar to Rohit Shetty, those closest to SRK have been spotted visiting Mannat, SRK's mansion.

South star Prithviraj has also joined the Khan brigade. SRK and Prithvi, let us remind you, are working together in Farah Khan's 'Happy New Year'. But even before the shoot of the film commences, the two actors are bonding over food and films.

Regarding Prithvi's presence at Mannat, filmi sources tell us, "As colleagues, they bond well. While Prithvi is trying to make a career in B'wood, he is also helping SRK understand the business aspect of the Southern film industry. The foundation of their equation is respect and admiration for each other."

The two actors also keep in touch over phone and email and are expected to fly to Dubai at the end of this year to start shooting for Farah's film.

Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
