Shah Rukh Khan to attend T.O. premiere of 'Ra.One'

TORONTO — Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will walk the red carpet at the Toronto premiere of his upcoming science fiction extravaganza.

Promoters say the Indian superstar is set to attend the opening of his 3D movie "Ra.One" on Oct. 26.

The Hindi super-hero movie features Khan as a family man who tries to connect with his son.

Organizers say the Toronto appearance will include a question-and-answer session with audience members at TIFF Bell Lightbox.

Khan drew hordes of screaming fans to public events he attended during the International Indian Film Academy awards in Toronto in June.

The matinee idol tweeted about his return to the city Monday, saying he was looking forward to a brief visit and that he has fond memories of Toronto.

‘Ra.One’ heads to shoot overseas

SRK’s superhero home production ‘Ra.One’ has completed its shooting schedule in India and is heading to overseas for its remaining shoot. According to the close hands in production, now only the photo shoot remains in India. Rest of the shooting will now happen in London. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan as superman with Kareena Kapoor as his wife and Arjun Ramphal as the bad guy.
