Hyundai plays 2011 Cricket World Cup with Sachin Tendulkar and Shahrukh Khan for better brand recall.

In India no one attracts better attention than Shahrukh Khan. And therefore Hyundai Motors India Limited, the second largest auto maker of the country appoints him as the official brand ambassador.

But once every 4 years comes a month when Shahrukh Khan is taken over by Sachin Tendulkar & boys. That is the month of the Cricket World Cup and being the official car partner for the 2011 World Cup, Hyundai hopes of creating a better brand recall.

Reportedly Hyundai cars will be used as the official mode of transport for players and other officials throughout the tournament. There will be other initiatives to attract the customers as well such as official world cup merchandise is to be made available at the dealerships and tickets are to be offered to contest winners. Also the world cup matches will be screened in different malls in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
