Shakira was nice to my kids: SRK

The whole world is smitten with pop diva Shakira and so is our Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Describing her as "gorgeous and gracious", he says he was bowled over by her in South Africa during the just-concluded FIFA World Cup 2010.

"Gorgeous, gracious and absolutely heartwarming Shakira. (She) was so nice to the kids. We are (her) fans for life," Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page. The actor even posted a casual picture as well as a family photograph with Shakira.

"...she was so humble and so real. That's why she is such a rockstar...said my name with a beautiful accent too. Have never been more excited to meet a rockstar...the wife and daughter adore her...so do the father and son," he added.

Shah Rukh then posted a tweet to Shakira. It read - "Thank you so much for your graciousness. You are a fabulous star. The kids think of me as a big hero now. May god bless you. Love, Srk." Shah Rukh, along with his wife Gauri children - Aryan and Suhana - are in South Africa for a vacation and accomodated the FIFA World Cup too. Besides attending the finals and meeting Shakira, the family also enjoyed a night safari and saw all kinds of animals.
