Shahrukh Khan 'Knights' the Bond

Before the headline makes you scratch your head let's clear the air, Shahrukh Khan hasn't been offered any role in the upcoming spy flick nor is he meeting Daniel Craig any time soon. It's rather a story from the cricketing world, Shahrukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders have roped in New Zealand speed star Shane Bond for the upcoming IPL season for a whopping $750,000 after getting locked in a tie-breaker with Deccan Chargers Hyderabad.


Shahrukh Khan was delighted with the KKR team roping in Shane Bond. In his Twitter post on the roping in Shane Bond Shahrukh wrote "v wanted Bond & it feels nice to have a bond in your team in more ways than one...to leave last yr behind & march to the podium Insha Allah." The My Name Is Khan star would be hoping that the New Zealander's would play a pivotal role in turning the fortune of Kolkata Knight Riders after having faced humiliation last year.

‘Ra.One’ heads to shoot overseas

SRK’s superhero home production ‘Ra.One’ has completed its shooting schedule in India and is heading to overseas for its remaining shoot. According to the close hands in production, now only the photo shoot remains in India. Rest of the shooting will now happen in London. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan as superman with Kareena Kapoor as his wife and Arjun Ramphal as the bad guy.
