Talk about a flying kiss, the ferocity of Shah Rukh must have propelled it all the way to the moon!

Khan walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra's Fall/Winter 2009 fashion show inspired by the Kolkata Knight Riders, Khan's IPL team, on March 30 at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai

"Manish is the first fashion designer in the history of mankind to design a sling. I don't know if they give away a Filmfare Award at the end of the fashion show. But I think Manish should be given a Filmfare for the best sling. He's the world's best sling designer now," Khan joked as Bollywood A-listers including Hrithik Roshan, Suzzane Roshan, Kajol, Sreedevi, Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta cheered from the front row.

Shah Rukh, who is recovering from a shoulder surgery last month to fix a torn muscle, matched the designer sling with a black jacket and black harem pants.

He made a finale entry that brought the audience on their feet begging for more of 'King' Khan. His impromptu thank you speech was laced with his characteristic self deprecating but laden humor.

It was a show that the audience couldn't get more of and never wanted to end, as screams of "We Love You Shah Rukh" ranted the air and the Super Star walked down the ramp several times to please his delighted cheering fans.

Manish used the Knight Riders theme of black and gold and presented a stunning sports inspired evening wear line. Besides the base color story of the Knight Riders, he added on touches of deep red, blue and green and wove them into garments that will work wonderfully after dark.

SRK plunges 300 feet

Shah Rukh Khan More Pics It seems that superstar Shah Rukh Khan has still not come out of his superhero persona. After doing some death-defying stunts for sci-fi thriller " Ra.One", the actor took a 300 feet plunge while shooting for Farhan Akhtar's " Don 2" in Berlin. "Just did an over 300 feet base jump for Don... because you all make me believe I can fly. Time to tell kids about the birds and the bees... ha ha," Shah Rukh wrote on microblogging site Twitter. "My jump was last shot of day. Want to thank my duplicate and action team, to do it before me for wide shots and make me feel confident about it," he added. Being SRK: The ultimate reality TV show

It's a job most Indians would die for — shadowing Shah Rukh Khan wherever he goes. For the last two months, that's exactly what a TV crew has been doing, following the country's biggest star from South Africa to America to London to Mumbai — all for the making of a unique six-part series on the actor, to be telecast on lifestyle channel Discovery Travel & Living. "It's an inner world-outer world kind of documentary," said Khan, speaking exclusively to HT. "Hopefully, the parts that people will get to see of me — at work and at other places — will shed some light on how films and film stars work and offer an insight into how I do things." Khan said he has got to know the crew quite well ("They have been very unobtrusive"). For Discovery Travel & Living, this series will be one of the biggest global productions to come out of India and will be shown all over the world. "We haven't yet decided when we're going to telec...
